50 miles northeast of Rotterdam and is easy toget to either from the
main airport Schipol or Europort, Rotterdam. The city that never
sleeps, is one of the main long weekend and mini break visiting places in europe.

The Central Station is massive inside and very very clean. This ICE or Inter City Express originated at Hamburg and terminated at Amsterdam. The coaches went out of site around the bend. There must have been at least 10 coaches.

The brightly decorated trams are cheap and run every few minutes, day and night but make sure you are going in the right direction. If in doubt, ask.

This must be one of the biggest cycle racks in the world. The photograph shows only 1/3.

Glass covered boats are great for a canal tour of the city.

This Juke box is in the Oranjeboom bar/cafe next to the Victoria Hotel opposite the Central Station. It's a Whirlittzer, it works and it still has the original records on it.

The flower market is on the Singel canal.
If you are looking for anything to do with flowers, you'll find it here.

Not many of these operating nowadays.

This is in Dam Square and easily seen.

There are many styles of house boats.

Original style Dutch barges, still in use.

A typical view down a canal in the city.

A rather expensive looking restaurant.

You'll see many bridges like this throughout Holland.
