Mevagissey

Mevagissey harbour and town seen from the sea.
Mevagissey is located on the south coast of Cornwall approx. 5 miles south of St. Austell.
 By car, at St. Austell on the A390 road, turn off onto the B3273 road and just follow this until you reach Mevagissey.
Mevagissey, a small fishing port, with no less than 5 car parks and room for plenty of boats in the harbour. In the summer months, a small passenger boat ferry runs between Mevagissey and Fowey. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in and around Mevagissey. The Eden Project, which is approx. 7 miles outside of Mevagissey (near St. Austell) The Lost Gardens of Heligan,  Mevagissey Museum,The Harbour Museum,The World of Model Railways Museum to list but a few.

Six views of the town and harbour. Fishing trips can be arranged with the local skippers,
weather permitting.

There are plenty of cafe’s, shops and pubs around the harbour…

but watch out for the very narrow streets if you venture down to the harbour in your car.
