The Basilica Di San Francesco. Stands 400M above sea level. This is the entrance to the upper church   The entrance to the lower church. St. Francis is buried in the crypt under the church

The Basilica Di Santa Chiara. Built between
1257 and 1260. Dedicated to St. Clare a very good friend of St. Francis. St. Clare was born
in 1193 and died 1253. 
 Piazza Santa Chiara. Named after St. Clare in which the Basilica stands
The bell tower and front of the cathedral of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva is in the Piazza Del Comune. The temple dates from 1st century B.C.  The Duomo Di San Rufino and the bell tower can just be seen towards the top right hand side of the picture.
